Description

The 2011 Maxi Rider features Shoulder Height Markers and AHR feature which is designed to be adjusted as your child grows.

The Safe N Sound 2011 Maxi Rider has introduced the Shoulder Height Marker feature which allows parents to easily distinguish when the seat needs to be converted. There are 3 Height Markers, each corresponding with a mode of use:

1. Lower Shoulder Height Marker (Forward Facing Mode) - Suitable from approx 6 months, up to approx 4 years of age
Child's shoulders must be in-line or above this marker until the Middle Shoulder Height Marker is reached
This mode must be used with the in-built harness
2. Middle Shoulder Height Marker (Booster Seat Mode) - Suitable from approx 4 years, up to approx 6-8 years of age
Child's shoulders must be in-line or above this marker until the Upper Shoulder Height Marker is reached
This mode must be used with a lap-sash seat belt OR a lap/lap-sash seat belt and the Safe N Sound Protecta Plus Harness
3. Upper Shoulder Height Marker
Once shoulders are above the Upper Shoulder Height Marker, the child must no longer use this restraint

Maxi Rider AHR contains height markers, to be used as a guide of when to switch between toddler and child mode
Built with the unique AHR (Active Head Restraint) feature which is a height adjustable headrest which shields your child's head in a side impact collison
Deeper side wings by a 40% (compared to the first verison Maxi Rider AHR) which is made from EPS foam designed to absorb energy in a side impact collision
Features a built-in 5 point harness with push button adjuster for use in the Toddler Mode
Features the exclusive Safe N Sound Slideguard clip to prevent slumping & reduce the risk of the lap belt rising onto the abdomen or reduce submarining
Features a Sash Guide (to be used in Booster Mode only) which ensures the sash part of the seat belt is across the shoulder correctly
Safe N Sound Protecta PLUS Harness compatible (sold separately)
Secured into your vehicle using the attached tether strap
Includes speakers built into the headrest which, by using the 3.5mm jack, can plug into any external audio source ie. iPods etc (not included)
